What's it about?

Electricity – How to Save Energy – Using an Energy Monitor – Insulation – Fuels – Pollution - Measuring - Tables

How does it work?

After watching our “Watts Up?” show, schools can begin a week of energy saving.
Pupils can measure how much energy they can save when trying really hard.
Once completed, we will send a certificate to the school saying how much electricity they saved and by how much they have reduced their carbon footprints.

Councils may wish to organize a prize for the winners.

NB: Meter readings must be taken the week before the challenge so that schools know how much they normally use.
To make results fair between different schools, challenge results should be measured as a percentage decrease.
