its implementation was great. The two actors were so natural children
completely immersed themselves in the show and gained a huge amount
of information without realising it. Come again!”
- Tewkesbury Church of England School.
“The children thoroughly
enjoyed the show and are constantly asking us to recycle!”
- Hertford Heath School, Herts
What's it about?
How much rubbish do we throw
away – Landfill Sites – Reusing – Recycling –
Reducing - Composting.
What's it like?
This show is one of our series
of acclaimed comedy lectures.
Imagine Laurel and Hardy trying to present a serious scientific
lecture and you can probably imagine what will happen.
Children are shown how much rubbish they throw away each year –
and how that adds up everyone in the UK throwing away billions of
bags of rubbish.
Children are encouraged to
lead creative discussions about how they could reduce the number
of things they throw away – by reusing, recycling and composting.
By using a visual and entertaining
style, children can really get to grips with any unfamiliar concepts.
This show covers a number of National Curriculum topics for science,
geography and English.
